Recent research on acupuncture for treating peripheral facial paralysis

针刺治疗周围性面瘫的疗效确切,已广泛应用于临床,但不同的针刺方法或选穴,疗效各异,因此,综合分析近3年关于针刺治疗周围性面瘫的疗效研究进展,着重从针刺的选穴和操作方法两方面总结,为治疗周围性面瘫提供更规范有效的疗法提供基础,以减少面瘫后遗症。

Acupuncture on peripheral facial paralysis has definite curative effect and acupuncture has been widely promoted and applied in clinical practice. However, there is different curative effect for different methods of acupuncture or acupoint selection. In order to provide standard and effective treatment for peripheral facial paralysis and to reduce facial paralysis sequelae, a comprehensive review of relevant researches during recent three years has been made from two aspects of the selected point and operation method of acupuncture.
