A siderite ore contains 33.64% Fe. By high gradient high intensity magnetic separation technology consisting of one stage rougher and one stage cleaner, good separation index can be achieved, the iron concentrate contains 40.02% Fe, the recovery of iron is 94.79%. The separation effect of the siderite is good enough to provide technology guidance to the iron resources development of the same type.
