大学书院的性质与功能

The Characters and Functions of Academy of University

书院是我国大学内部的一种组织设计,是由大学开办的学生生活与文化活动组织。我国的大学书院近年来呈现出积极的发展态势,但目前还需要解决与现存学生管理体系、学科专业学院之间的关系问题,以及自身存在的合理性与合法性问题。从性质上看,大学书院应该是标榜明确教育理念的组织;组织开展多种活动,并基于学生自助、自我教育与自我管理的社团组织;培育学生的心灵与精神,对学科专业教育起重要辅助作用的特殊的教育组织。作为一种创新性的学生生活与文化教育服务组织,大学书院具有生活支持功能、教学辅助功能、文化教育功能、行政协助功能与社团自治功能。

The academy is an internal organization of university, and it is organized for students＇ life and their cultural activities. The academy of university in China has been showing a positive develop- ment trend in recent years, but the relationship between academy and existing student management system should be coordinated, as well as the relationship between academy and college of discipline profession. Meanwhile, the issues of rationality and legality of academy should be settled, too. From the perspective of character, the academy of university should be an organization upholds a clear edu cational concept; should be a community organization which organizes a variety of activities, and based on students self-help, self-education and self-management; should be a special educational organization which nurtures the mind and spirit, and plays an important supporting role for the education of disci- pline ~ profession. As an innovative organization for students＇ life, cultural education and service, the academy of university should has several functions, including life support, teaching aid, cultural education, administrative assistance and community self-organized.
