Inquiry about Positive Pragmatic Functions of Impoliteness in TV Variety Shows

机构性不礼貌话语具有积极语用功能,文章以电视综艺节目为例尝试进行探究。电视综艺节目中的机构性不礼貌话语具有娱乐观众的积极语用功能,具有弱对抗性、话语权不对称性和语用功能的正面性等语用特征。说话人可借助否定评价语、反问句、变异修辞、韵律等语言手段和面相身势等副语言手段达到多种娱乐效果。该机构中的娱乐不礼貌话语有助于和谐人际关系的构建。

Institutional impoliteness has positive functions, and this article attempts to explore it by taking TV variety shows as example. Institutional impoliteness in Television variety shows has positive pragmatic functions of entertaining the audience, and has pragmatic characteristics of weak antagonism, asymmetry of discourse power and the positivity. Speakers can use different language means of negative evaluation words, rhetorical questions, variation rhetoric, rhythm and non-verbal means of facial expression and body posture to achieve a variety entertainment. The study showed that impoliteness in Television variety shows can construct harmonious interpersonal relationships.
