摘要
中国古代存在着一个围绕"名"及其相关问题而展开的广泛论说与持续争辩。历史地看,伍非百在1916年率先把"名辩"一词引入先秦名学研究,并较早地对名辩之学的内容及其组成进行了明确论述。此后他将研究视野从先秦名辩扩展至整个先秦形名之学,并根据要旨的不同把后者进一步区分为形名六派。相较于近代以来那种以"名学逻辑化"为主导方法的旧名学研究,伍非百对名辩之学乃至整个形名之学的理解可以说为当代新名学的开拓提供了可能。
related issues inThere is a widely participated and continuous discussion about mlng (名/name) andancient China. Historicallyspeakingmingbian (名辩/name and argumentation) into the stu, Wu Feibai is the first to introduce the term ofdy of mingxue ( 名学/the learning of ming) of thepre-Qin period, and discuss the key issues and components of mingbianxue (名辩学/the learning ofmingbian). Later he extends his scope of research from mingbianxue to the whole rningxue of the pre-Qinperiod, and divides the latter into six schools, one of which is mingbian, by the different main ideas oftheir respective discussions of ruing.
