First,the domestic development and present production situation of drill pipe are discussed. Then,the processing of drill pipe-end upsetting is analyzed. Finally,according to the development process of pipe-end upsetting equipment,the characteristics of horizontal forging machine,combined type upsetting machine and integrally framed upsetting machine are discussed and compared.
