摘要
为了解决预制棒直径的增加和拉丝速度的提高所带来的光纤内部应力增大的问题,提出利用退火炉改善光纤内部应力的方法,并且从理论上分析了应用退火工艺改善光纤内部应力的原理。通过对比实验,得到退火工艺对光纤衰减、翘曲特性和光纤脆性的影响。在退火工艺条件下,所制得的光纤在1 310、1 550nm波长的衰减典型值分别为0.317dB/km、0.182dB/km,翘曲度值在14m以上,光纤的剥纤断纤率降低到0.08%。
Intra-stress is one of the most important factors that affect the quality of the optical fiber greatly.The lower of the intra-stress makes the performance of the fiber better.But the increasing of the draw speed and the diameter of the perform makes is difficult to reduce the intra-stress of the optical fiber.In this paper,a method was proposed to reduce the intrastress in high draw speed and large perform diameter by the application of the annealing technology.The principle of the annealing technology was analyzed from theoretical level,and the variation of the attenuation,curl and brittle of the optical fiber with or without the annealing furnace was investigated from the contrast test respectively.The result showed that the typical value of the attenuation on 1 310 nm is 0.317dB/km and the 1 550 nm is 0.182dB/km,the value of the curl is more than 14 mand the broken rate of peeling off is low to 0.08%.In conclusion,the property of the optical fiber could be considerably improved by the application of the annealing technology.
