降钙素原（procalcitonin，PCT）是一种无激素活性的糖蛋白，作为一种新型的炎症生物学标记物，已广泛用于评判感染的类型及严重程度，指导抗生素的合理应用，以减少抗生素的处方率，避免耐药性的产生。本文着重综述了近年来降钙素原的临床应用及研究进展。

Procalcitonin （PCT） is a glycoprotein without hormone activity. As a novel inflammatory biomarker, PCT has been widely used to identify the type and severity of infection, and to guide the rational use of antibiotics, to reduce the rate of antibiotic prescription and avoid drug resistance to antibiotics. This article reviewed the clinical application and research progress of caleitonin in recent years.
