一种含金红石“石榴子石角闪石岩”的初步研究

A Study on a Rutile-Bearing “Garnet-Amphibolite”

金红石矿床一般与区域变质形成的榴辉岩体有关。以往一种因接触变质作用形成的含金红石“石榴子石角闪石岩”作为矿床论述，尚未见过报道。作者对此类岩石作了初步研究和探讨，现介绍于后，供读者参考。

The rutile-bearing Garnet-amphibolites occur in the vicinity of the deep fault between the old Shield and Plat- form. It is verified through our investigation that it is a new type of rutile deposit, promising a good prospect. The present deposit differs from other gamet-pyroxenite deposits in that it was not subjected to any sharp regional metamorphism and, therefore, the ore-formation is mainlyrelated to the intrusion of the troctolite. Hence a good deal of free iron is to be absorbed in the process of formation of the garnets, which occured just at that time, the favourable conditions therefor, will be created for Ti and 0 to form rutile, so the content of garnet can be regarded as an indirect ore hunting evidence.
