This paper describes the connotation and characteristics of the micro classes and the flipped classroom. Then it analyzes the relationship between the two. What＇s more,this paper discusses the design principle and the teaching process of the flipped classroom based on micro classes. The purpose of this paper is to interpret the college English teaching process in detail through flipped classroom based on micro classes by taking the instance of one lesson from the book New Horizon College English Reading and Writing Course IV.
