The sum of squares of integers has long been an important research problem in the theory of elementary number theory. With the help of a special type of representations of numbers in N 2=[1 2, 2 2, 3 2, ...] as the sum of some of smaller but different numbers in N 2, we get the possibility for the representation of most numbers in N as the sum of different numbers in N 2 and the we propose a resenable conjecture. For N 3=[1 3, 2 3, 3 3, ...] and N 4=[1 4, 2 4, 3 4, ...] we also get similar but weaker results.
