摘要
本文简要介绍了2016年7月30日马里亚纳群岛M7.8地震的参数速报情况,并利用全球地震台网波形数据,采用W-Phase方法,测定了该地震的震源机制解,结果为:节面Ⅰ走向198.0°,倾角35.7°,滑动角135.9°;节面Ⅱ走向326.2°,倾角66.0°,滑动角62.7°;矩震级为M_W7.72。本文测定结果与GCMT等国际机构所得震源参数相当一致,均为一次逆冲型为主的中源地震。
The rapid parameter determination of the July 30th 2016 M7. 8 earthquake in Mariana Islands is introduced in this paper. And then, based on the data from the Global Seismograph Network (GSN), the focal mechanism of this event is calculated with the W- Phase method. The best double-couple solution is: for the nodal plane I ,strike: 198°/ dip = 35. 7° /slip=135. 9°, while for the nodal plane I I,strike = 236. 2° /dip=66. 0°/slip = 62. 7°; and the moment magnitude is Mw7. 72. This result is quite consistent with the ones from such international seismological institutions as the Global Centroid Moment Tensor (GCMT) , all indicating that this earthquake is a subduction event of reverse faulting at an intermediate depth.
