摘要
加拿大阿尔伯塔大学专业课程的全英语教学法颇具特色,具有很多值得中国高等院校双语乃至全英语授课借鉴的有益经验。通过对比阿尔伯塔大学与中国高等院校在全英语教学实践方面的异同,围绕"What to teach?"、"How to teach?"以及"How to improve?"三个问题,对金融学专业核心课程之一的《国际金融管理》的全英语教学法进行了探索;并基于此探讨了提升课程全英语教学效果的多元途径,指出了影响全英语教学效果的值得重点关注的因素;最后,提出了中国高等院校金融学专业进一步开展全英语教学应思考的问题与方向。
The full-English teaching of professional courses in University of Alberta is pretty distinctive, which has a lot of useful experience to be drawn by Chinese colleges and universities teaching bilingually or entirely in English. By comparing the English teaching practice in University of Alberta with that in Chinese universities and colleges, it firstly probes into the full-English teaching of International Financial Management, one of the core programs for finance majors, by focusing on three issues: "What to teach?", "How to teach?" and "How to improve teaching?". Then, it discusses diverse ways to enhance the teaching effect of courses in full-English and points out the factors influencing THE teaching effect of the same. Finally, it puts forward several issues and directions of further developing full-English teaching in finance majors in Chinese universities and colleges, which should be thought carefully.
