Non-Tariff Measures in ASEAN:Reality and Influence

在过去十年间,双边及多边贸易谈判促使东盟内部关税显著削减。但与此同时,东盟内部非关税壁垒的数量正不断增长,成为阻碍东盟经济一体化以及影响东盟与区域外国家和地区贸易联系深化的重要原因之一。

Over the past ten years, multilateral trade negotiations have helped to substantially reduce tariff rates. While tariffs have been reduced, the number of non-tariff measures （NTMs） is increasing and is often blamed to be a source of the lack of integration in ASEAN and one of the influences affected the deepening of trade between ASEAN and other countries and regions.
