Identifying Itch Based on Pattern Differentiation of Eight Principles

痒是一种引起机体产生抓挠欲望的不愉快的感觉,目前其发生机制尚未被完全阐明。中医临床对痒的辨治往往离不开脏腑辨证及六淫说等,但痒在临床中的多发性和顽固性特点使得它仍需要有更深入、全面的分析和阐释。八纲辨证是中医辨证的基本纲领,既注重对病证的整体分析,又可有效地指导临床治疗。本文试从这一角度对痒的辨识与治疗提出自己的看法。

Itch is a kind of unpleasant feelings of desire inducing scratch, at present its mechanism has not been fully elucidated. Therapy of itch was often connected with the ZANG-fu Differentiation and six excesses. Clinically, itch was frequent and refractory so that it was needed to be comprehensively analyzed and understood. Pattern differentiation of eight principles was the basic program of TCM pattern differentiation, which not only focus on the integrated understanding of the disease, hut also provide the right direction of the effective treatment. This review represented our insights on the identification and treatment of itch based on pattern differentiation.
