摘要
学生自主学习能力培养是近年来外语界普遍关注的焦点,然而民办高校英语专业新生自主学习观研究却是该领域的短板。通过调查问卷和访谈,发现大部分受试学生对英语学习本质和难度有较明确的认知,对英语学习抱着积极的态度和兴趣。但是大部分学生依然表现出对教师强烈的依赖性,自我效能感较低,缺乏相应的英语学习策略知识。因此,教师应帮助学生提升元认知知识,树立正确的英语学习观,对其进行策略培训并尽量提高其自信心。
Leamer autonomy has attracted much attention in the foreign hnguage field of China, while research on non-governmental col- lege fast-year English majors' beliefs about it is terribly neglected. By questionnaire and interview, it's found that subjects showed a favorable understanding of the nature of English learning and a positive attitude and interest in it. However, they ten- ded to depend on their teachers greatly and had an inadequate knowledge of English learning strategies and low sense of self-ef- ficacy. Thus, some measures are supposed to be taken to help them build up positive beliefs and foster autonomy, including pro- riding leamer training-psychological preparation and physical preparation and increasing learners' confidence. And, of course, on the part of the teacher, he or she should have a clear idea of learner autonomy and be fully prepared to help the students to develop positive beliefs and autonomy in their learning activities.
