Based on the social function mechanism of interlingual transformation, the paper aims to find the best translation through an exploration into the etymology of the word, together with its meaning and a comparative analysis of its different translations in terms of the four factors in the social function mechanism of interlingual transformation, namely, recipients, culture, times and contexts, in order to achieve the transcoding of the content information and the cultural information involved in the word and to promote intercultural communication.
