Objective To investigate the distribution of common pathogenic bacteria of urinary tract infection in children and clinical characteristics of urine pH value. Methods A retrospective analysis of 180 cases of UTI in urine culture positive results and urine pH in children from September 2015 to September 2016,the distribution of UTI pathogenic bacteria and the clinical characteristics of urine pH was explored. Results Among 180 clinical isolates collected from midstream urine specimens of children in pediatrics,109 cases (61%) were gram-positive organisms, urine pH at 6.3±0.2; 60 cases (33%) were gram-negative organisms, urine pH at 6.2±0.1,while 11 cases (6%) were fungi, urine pH at 5.2±0.3.pH was compared among three kinds of children with different pathogenic bacterial infection, urine of children with fungal infection with higher pH value, and the differences were statistically significant (P〈0.05).Conclusion Corresponding to different pathogenic bacteria of urinary infections in children's urine pH distribution rang is different, the growth of pathogenoic can be effectively inhibited through adjusting of the urine pH,and improve the efficacy of antibacterial.
