Dietary cholesterol and risk of cardiovascular diseases

摘要 胆固醇是人体必需的营养素之一,食物来源为鸡蛋、猪肉等。系列流行病学及实验研究表明,膳食胆固醇摄入过多或每天摄入超过1个鸡蛋会轻度升高血胆固醇水平。不同地区和人群中研究表明,膳食胆固醇或鸡蛋与心血管疾病事件或死亡之间存在关联的结论缺乏证据。 Cholesterol is an essential nutrient for human body. Dietary cholesterol comes from animal sources, including eggs, pork and others. A number of epidemiological and experimental studies showed that too much intake of cholesterol or consumption of more than 1 egg per day would slightly elevate blood cholesterol level. Results of studies in different areas and populations suggested that there is a lack of sufficient evidence to support the association between cholesterol intakes or egg consumption and cardiovascular disease incidence or deaths.
