摘要
新工科建设是一项涉及面广、影响面宽、具有中国特色的复杂的系统工程,对中国高等教育的改革和发展具有示范和引领作用,需要清晰的内涵界定、科学的顶层设计和合理的建设规划。本文首先界定新工科的内涵与特征这一核心概念,其次基于新工科的内涵提出新工科的建设目标,然后针对新工科的特征给出新工科建设的总体思路,接着根据不同类型高校的特点分别给出新工科建设的具体建议,最后从与传统学科建设不同的角度讨论新工科建设的重点,以期为各类高校开展新工科建设提供参考和借鉴。
New engineering disciplines (NEDs) construction is a complex, wide-ranged and signifi- cantly influential system engineering which is featured by China' s characteristics. Its leading role for the reform and development of China's higher education calls for clear conceptions of connotation and features, a scientific design of top level and reasonable construction plan. Therefore, this paper firstly defines the connotation and characteristics and core concepts of NEDs, which is followed by an elabora- tion of of NEDs' construction goal based on the connotation of the NEDs. It furthermore gives an overall thinking of NEDs construction according to the characteristics of NEDs, then provides some concrete implica- tions for NEDs construction at different types of colleges and universities according to their characteristics. This study finally highlights the focus of NED construction from the angle which differs from traditional discipline construction, which aims to provide a reference for all kinds of colleges and universities.
