在全球化的推动下,世界处于新的历史转折点。环境、能源、局部战争这些全球性的问题,都日益凸显目前全球价值的缺失和处理全球性问题的制度性建制的效能不足。日益尖锐的资源和利益之间的冲突,不断以"文化冲突"的方式来展现。中华文明作为世界文明的奠基源之一,为处理人类的困境提供了许多思想资源。各美其美、美美与共的文化自觉,不仅是对中华文明自身精神特质的一种阐发,也是对处理全球化时代的不同文明之间关系的价值支撑,基于此,中国政府提出了建立人类命运共同体的呼吁。人类命运共同体的观念的提出是有深厚的文化基础的,是中国人整体思维和天下情怀在处理多元文化关系时的一种体现。中国政府倡导的人类命运共同体观念强调国家与国家之间既互相独立,但又是你中有我、我中有你的互济关系,这是中华文明在新的轴心时代为人类提供的"实践性智慧"。

As part of the foundation of the world civilization, the Chinese civilization provides a lot of ideological resources for dealing with the plight of mankind. The ＂develop and share＂ cultural consciousness is not only an analysis of the spiritual characteristics of Chinese civilization, but also the value supporting the relationship between the different civilizations in the era of globalization. Based on this, the Chinese government advocates establishing a community of common destiny for all mankind. This concept has a deep cultural foundation, and reflects the Chinese people＇s overall thinking and world feelings in dealing with multicultural relations. It emphasizes that the states are independent of each other and also interconnected, which is the ＂practical wisdom＂ Chinese civilization contributes in the new axis era.
