Objective To explore effects of innovative teaching-learning model combined with web and classroom teaching on improving the teaching quality of radiation medicine teaching. Methods Traditional teaching method and innovative teaching-learning model incorporating web and classroom teaching were respectively applied to control classes and experimental classes for radiation medicine learning in the years of 2011 and 2012. The classes were randomly constituted by students in clinical medicine major from Third Military Medical University. Questionnaire and grade statistics were used to analyze teaching effect. Results Compared with that in control classes, the percentages of students with better autonomic learning, better understanding ability and much conscious harvest in knowledge, emotion and value orientation in experimental classes were significantly high(P〈0.05). Also, the experimental-class students′ scores including testing-ability question score and written examination score were obviously higher than those of control-class students(P〈0.05). Conclusion The innovative teaching-learning model combined with web and classroom teaching can effectively culture autonomic-learning habit, enhance understanding capacity, and improve the teaching quality of radiation medicine teaching.
