The Impact of Trump's Economic and Trade Protection Policy on Sino-US Economic and Trade Relations

2016年11月9日,特朗普当选为第45任美国总统,面对全球需求萎缩、美国经济中的双赤字,特朗普推出一系列"全球收缩,美国优先"的经贸保护政策,这些政策的实施将对中美经贸关系产生深远影响。本文认为:中国要审时度势,充分利用多边贸易体制维护自身利益,积极推进新型经济全球化和全球经济治理;要大力推进"一带一路"战略,深化供给侧结构改革,提高开放型经济发展水平;要积极推动中美双边投资协定谈判,促进双边直接投资尤其是中国参与美国基础设施建设;中美要以百日合作计划为契机,全面加强两国间的政治互信、经济合作和互利共赢。

November 9, 2016, Trump was elected as the 45th president of the United States, faced with global demand shrinking and the double deficit of US economy, Trump launched a series of ＂global contraction, the United States priority＂ eco- nomic and trade protection policies, the application of these policies will have a profound impact on Sino-US Economic and Trade Relations. This paper argues that： China should assess the situation, make full use of the multilateral trading system to safeguard our own interests, and actively promote the new economic globalization and global economic governance; to vigorously implement the＂Belt and Road＂ strategy, to deepen the supply-side structure reform and improve the development level of open economy; to actively promote the negotiations on bilateral investment agreements between China and US, to promote bilateral di- rect investment, especially China＇ s participation in infrastructure construction in the US; China and US should take the 100-day cooperation plan as an opportunity to comprehensively strengthen political mutual trust, economic cooperation and mutual bene- fit between the two countries.
