论一般艺术学视域中的世界艺术史书写——兼评徐子方《世界艺术史纲》

A book review on Xu Zifang's The Outline of World Art History

世界艺术史的研究正在兴起,且已有多部相关著作出版,但目前这一方面的出版物还存在一些偏差。这主要体现在两个方面:其一,当代西方世界艺术史写作对东方艺术涉及较少;其二,目前所谓的世界"艺术史",大多是美术史或者造型艺术史,而非一般艺术学层面上的艺术史书写。徐子方的《世界艺术史纲》可谓应运而生。这本著作,既体现了中国史学精神,也是打通各艺术门类壁垒的《艺术世界史纲》艺术学理论研究层面上的艺术史。

Though quite a few books on the world art history have been published,there is still room for improvement in our research.First,few books available in market touch upon the art history in the East.Second,the so-called"art history"is not history about art studies in general but mostly about fine arts or design.The Outline of World Art History written by Xu Zifang distinguishes itself by expounding the history of art studies in general as well as embodying the essence of the Chinese history studies.
