Advances on the research and development of new antimicrobial agents

全球范围细菌对抗菌药物耐药问题日益严重,特别是广泛耐药革兰阴性杆菌感染,常造成临床束手无策的困境。近年来美国食品药品管理局(Food and Drug Administration,FDA)批准上市了一些新抗菌药物,对耐药菌具有抗菌活性,另外一些新抗菌药物也进入了临床各期的研究。本文分别就对耐药革兰阴性菌有效、对耐药革兰阳性菌有效和具有广谱抗菌作用的数个新抗菌药物进行综述,谨供临床医生和药师参考。

The problem of bacterial resistance to antimicrobial agents has been more and more urgent worldwide. Especially, the pan-drug resistant Gram- negative bacteria infection has always got us into trouble with the treatment. To date, some new antimicrobials, which proved active against multi-drug resistant bacteria, has been brought to different phases of clinical trails, and among which, several drugs has been approved by US Food and Drug Administration （FDA）. This review includes a few new antimicrobials active against drug-resistant Gram-positive cocci and/or Gram-negative bacilli.
