摘要 文章针对本科教育"厚基础、宽口径"培养模式给人才培养及其专业建设提出的适应性要求,提出了光电信息科学与工程专业"厚基础、宽口径、显特色、富创新"的人才培养目标,依托"武汉·光谷"地域经济和武汉理工大学学科特色与优势确立了两个专业办学特色方向。探讨了宽口径人才培养模式下专业特色保持和发展的思路及措施,并通过一系列的教学改革探索和实践,在专业建设和特色人才培养等方面取得显著成效。 Based on the adaptive requirement of talents cultivation and specialty construction suggested by the training mode of undergraduate education solid foundation, wide scope, the paper proposed the objective of cultivating talents for the major of Photoelectric Information Science and Engineering with the char-acteristics of " solid foundation, wide scope, distinctive features and full ofinnovation. Besides, two directions of specialized characteristics are developed based on the regional economy features of " Wuhan - Optics Valley” and discipline features and advantages in Wuhan University of Technology. It also studies the thought and measures of maintaining and developing the specialized characteristics under the mode of cultivating wide - scopetalents in this paper. Through a series of exploration of teaching reform and practice, some significant achievements have been made in the specialty construction, cultivation of professional talents and so on.
