The Influences of Western Cultural Hegemony on Contemporary College Students' Ideology and the Countermeasures

经济全球化和文化多元化背景下,西方霸权国家利用科技、传播媒介倾销自身文化产品和价值观,潜移默化地使高校学生思想意识受到影响,导致大学生思想意识位移,价值观念转变,民族文化认同感降低,盲目崇拜西方普世价值。抵制西方霸权文化,需坚持马列主义指导思想,促使大学生树立正确世界观、人生观、价值观;立足于本国优秀传统文化,借鉴吸收外来优秀文化;充分利用教育教学平台,加强文化安全意识教育。

Under the background of economic globalization and cultural diversity, Western hegemony countries use science and technology and media to dump their own cultural products and values, by which university students＇ ideology is slowly but effectively influenced. Many college students have altered their ideology and values, with a blind warship of Western universal values and reduced national cultural identi- ty. To resist Western hegemony culture, it is necessary to establish correct views on the World, life and values based on Marxism-Leninism; base on the excellent national traditional culture and draw on excellent culture from foreign countries; make full use of education teaching platform to enhance the awareness edu- cation on cultural safety.
