Objective To explore the correlation and meaning of Hcy,RBP and lipid metabolism parameters in obese subjects. Methods 870 subjects were included in this study, and divided into the obese group( n = 430) and the control group( n =440). Subjects' anthropometric parameters, and lipid metabolism parameters, serum RBP,Hcy were detected. Results Serum Hcy,RBP,lipid levels were significantly higher in the obese group than that in the control group. Males had significantly higher Hcy and RBP levels than females. And serum Hcy levels were significantly higher in the high age group than in the low age group, with the differences statistically significant( P〈0. 05); the difference of serum RBP levels between the high age group and the low age group wasn't statistically significant( P〉0. 05); in all subjects, serum Hcy levels were positively correlated with RBP,TG,LDL( r = 0. 237,r = 0. 198,r = 0. 147,P〈0. 05); and negatively correlated with HDL( r =-0. 244,P〈0. 01). Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that HDL and RBP were independently related factors influencing serum Hcy levels. Conclusion The expression of Hcy,RBP and lipid metabolism parameters has an obvious disorder in obese group.Hcy,RBP and lipid metabolism parameters play an very important role to correlated disease in obesity group.
