A Study of Japanese Ambiguity Based on Michel Meyer's New View of Rhetoric

暧昧性是日语相对于其他语言最为显著的特征之一,一直以来受到了日本本国及国外学者的充分关注,学界围绕日语暧昧性的研究长期以来主要从文化特异性角度和暧昧语的具体表达和使用两个方面进行研究。本文从《修辞学原理——论据化的一种一般理论》中米歇尔·梅耶基于问题学哲学所提出的新修辞观角度,诠释日语暧昧性的语言本质。

Ambiguity,compared with other languages,is one of the most remarkable features in Japanese Language,which have always received full attention of both Japanese native and foreign scholars.However,the academic researches on the ambiguity of Japanese have long been confined on two aspects——of cultural specificity and of the specific expression and usage of ambiguity.Completely different from the previous studies,this research attempts to make a new interpretation of the essence of language in Japanese ambiguity with perspective of the new view of rhetoric proposed in Principia Rhetorica,une théoriegénérale de l＇argumentation by Michel Meyer based on Problem Philosophy.
