2017年中国在全球的专利申请量已超过138万件,历年累积的专利申请数量已超过了1900万件。从数量的角度已超过了美国和日本,全球第一,但专利的质量、转化率和运营方式等相比国外知名专利运营服务机构仍有一段距离。为了确保专利的质量,充分实现专利在创新中的价值,建立专利运营服务服务机构迫在眉睫,本文试图通过介绍Ocean Tomo公司的专利评估与交易服务、Acacia的积极许可服务、IPXI公司的许可份额化交易、AST的收购—对内许可—再出售模式、Dominion Harbor的专利银行和OIN的互助交叉许可等模式,以期引发思考,供业界参考。
