This paper introduces the characteristics and operation condition of coal tar ebullated bed hydrogenation process developed by the Hebei Xinqiyuan Energy Technology Development Co.,Ltd.and Shanghai Xinnuo Energy Technology Co.,Ltd.From the comparison with the original fixed bed hydrogenation unit it is concluded that coal tar ebullated bed hydrocracking technology is strong adaptability and high utilization rate to raw materials,long operation cycle and low unit energy consumption.
