In the process of coal quality testing,the determination of the indexes of calorific value and volatile matter has a very important influence on the whole test measurement.The accuracy of the measurement is related to the economic benefits of coal enterprises and the interests of the actual users.Calorific value and volatile matter are two important indexes of coal quality and coal use effect.Coal enterprises usually use instrumental sampling method to measure them.This paper mainly probes into the adjustment and measurement of the equipment before testing,the use and calorific value of desiccant in the sample,and the specific determination method of volatile matter.
