Starting from the main problems encountered in the selection of current transformer parameters, the classifica tion of current transformer, main parameters of current transformer, rated primary current and rated secondary current respectively were discussed. The selection of rated primary current parameters of current transformer was introduced in detail. It provides a good experience for current transformer design and equipment operation.
