上世纪五十年代中国进入新民主主义社会后,中国共产党很快选择了社会主义道路,这是当时多种社会动力共同推动的结果。这些社会动力主要源自中国社会内部,包括实现工业化的历史使命、解决新民主主义社会主要矛盾的直接需求、化解新民主主义社会基本矛盾的根本需求、追求共产主义理想的精神力量等,还有一些社会动力来自中国外部,主要是严峻的国际环境所造成的外部压力。这些内外部的社会动力相互联系和制约,共同构成了中国共产党选择社会主义道路的社会动力系统。这一系统是可以认识的,也是可以把握并且更好地加以利用的。对这一系统进行历史性的考察和分析,对于今天我们更好地建设中国特色社会主义仍有极大的启示意义。

When China entered the new democratic society in the 50s of last century, the Communist Party of China soon chose the socialist road, which was the result of multiple social forces at that time.These social forces were mainly from the interior of Chinese society, including the historical mission of realizing industrialization, the direct demand to solve the major contradictions in the new democratic society, the fundamental need to resolve the basic contradictions of the new democratic society, the spiritual power of the pursuit of the ideal of communism, etc. and some of the social forces came from the outside of China too, which was mainly the external pressure caused by the severe international environment. These internal and external social dynamics were linked and restricted, and together constituted the social power system for the Communist Party of China to choose the socialist road. This system can be understood, and can be grasped and used better. The historical investigation and analysis of this system will be of great enlightenment to the better construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
