耦合协调度决定城市竞争力——基于欧洲大中城市样本的分析

Coupling Coordination Degree Determinates Urban Competitiveness:An Analytical Study Based on the Large and Medium Sample Cities in Europe

耦合协调度是影响城市发展中的重要问题,构建了科技创新、金融服务、产业体系、人力资源、营商环境等九个关键解释性指标的耦合协调度的模型,采用耦合协调度、基准回归、分位数回归等方法对欧洲126个样本城市的经济竞争力与各项指标数据进行研究分析;结果显示:经济竞争力与耦合协调度存在高度的正相关性,耦合协调度是影响城市竞争力的关键驱动因素;耦合协调度处于优质协调和良好协调的城市主要集中于西欧、北欧和东欧的金融科技创新性的城市,耦合协调度较低的城市主要集中于东欧和南欧等不发达区域的城市;强调各城市经济竞争力的驱动因素有差异,建议采取"扬长、补短、抓关键"的战略原则,以促进经济竞争力的提高。

Coupling coordination degree is an important issue,affecting urban development. Based on theindex data of the economic competitiveness of 126 European cities, this paper analyzes the degree ofcoupling coordination （ DCC） among technological innovation, financial services, industrial system,human resources, business environment, business cost, infrastructure and living environment. Throughcoupling coordination analysis, benchmark regression, quantile regression and other empirical modelanalysis, results show that there is a high positive correlation between the economic competitiveness andthe coupling coordination degree, and the coupling coordination degree is the key driving factor for theurban competitiveness. The cities with strong coordination or good coordination are mainly concentrated inwestern,northern and eastern Europe, with financial and technological innovation, while, the cities withlow coupling and coordination degree are mainly concentrated in the cities of the underdeveloped regionssuch as the eastern and the southern. Different driving factors affect the competitiveness of various citiesin Europe. Considering the local conditions, the suggestions are to grasp the key driving factors of theurban development, bring out the strengths of the city, make up the short board, and grasp the key topromote the improvement of the urban economic competitiveness.
