Practical teaching is critical in distinguishing the ordinary college from the higher vocational college. Based on this point, the article argues on the practical teaching of foreign trade speciality in the higher vocational college. The author analyses its position and characteristics, at the same time, provides the way to improve practical teaching and the method to evaluate it.
