城市化视角下新生代农民工报道研究——以《楚天都市报》为例

The Research of the New-generation Peasant Immigrant Report From the Perspective of Urbanization——Taking the Chutian Metropolis Daily as an Example

媒体在推动我国城市化、新生代农民工市民化过程中的起着不可替代的重大作用。以《楚天都市报》为例,通过分析其对新生代农民工的报道,认识到现阶段媒体在对这一群体报道时还存在着报道内容不够全面准确、没有进行有效的议程设置、报道倾向负面化等不足,进而认为媒体应该以"结构化理论"拓宽报道领域,改善新生代农民工社会境况;应进一步突显人文关怀,促进新生代农民工市民化;打破对新生代农民工报道的污名化,重塑其全面真实的形象,从而使媒体在我国社会转型时期的重要作用得到真正发挥。

Media plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the process of urbanization of new-generation peasant immigrants of China.The paper,taking Chutian Metropolis Daily as an example,by analyzing the reports on the new-generation peasant immigrants,tries to reveal the defects of media reports on this group of people,such as lack of fullness and accuracy,failure of effective agenda setting and inclination of negative reports on them.Further,the paper suggests that the media should explore more topics of the new-generation peasant immigrants for reporting,based on the Structuring Theory,to improve the social situation of them;the media should enhance the urbanization of newgeneration peasant immigrants by showing more humanistic concern about them;the media should establish the accurate and full images of the new-generation of peasant immigrants by correcting the reports which stigmatizes their images.All the suggestions are helpful for the media to play the vital role in the time of social transition of China.
