酒店企业实施环境管理体系的阻滞因素分析

Barriers to the Environmental Management System in Hotel Industry

环境管理体系(EMS)是一项内部管理工具,能够有效改进酒店企业的环境行为。以湖南省长株潭地区星级酒店为例,运用因子分析、单因素方差分析和独立样本T检验,对阻碍酒店企业实施环境管理体系的因素进行实证研究。结果表明:阻碍酒店企业实施环境管理体系的因素共有7项,按总体均值从大到小排列分别为实施与维护费用高昂(3.58)、缺乏专业指导(3.48)、外部环境不成熟(3.39)、缺乏知识、技能和人才(3.27)、缺乏认知(3.22)、缺乏内部支持与协助(3.21)、缺乏效用(2.89);各阻滞因素对不同类型酒店产生的影响存在显著差异,其中就星级而言,五星级酒店所受影响整体小于三、四星级酒店;就经营时间而言,经营时间不超过5年的酒店所受影响整体小于经营时间超过5年的酒店。最后基于上述结论,提出相关对策建议。

Environmental Management System(EMS)is an internal management tool,which can effectively improve the environmental behavior of hotel business.Using the factor analysis,one-way ANOVA and independent samples t-test,the authorstried to implement an empirical research to find the barriers of conducting the environmental management system in hotel industryby taking star-rated hotels in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban group as an example.Findings show that there are seven factors that hinder hotels from implementing the environmental management system;according to the population mean in descendingorder,they are:high costs of implementation and maintenance(3.58),lack of professional guidance(3.48),an immature externalenvironment(3.39),lack of knowledge,skills and talents(3.27),lack of awareness(3.22),lack of internal support and assistance(3.21),lack of efficiency(2.89);there are significant differences between the impact that the seven factors on the different types ofhotel;in terms of the star level,the impact on the five-star hotels overall is less than that on the three-star hotels and four-starhotels;in terms of operating time,the impact on the hotels whose operating time not exceed five years less than that on the hotelsexceeding five years.At last,this paper came up with some suggestions on the basic of conclusions.
