Fowl adenoviruses(FAdVs)are distributed worldwide in poultry farms.Some FAdVs are important causative agents of inclusion body hepatitis(IBH)and hydropericardium syndrome(HPS)that result in significant economic losses to the poultry industry.This article will from FAdV family,genome,epidemiology and control measures to summarize the status of the disease,aiming at providing references for control and prevention of the disease.
