In this paper,the opening and use of WeChat public account in some university libraries in Jilin City were investigated in detail and the construction status and existing problems of the WeChat public platforms were analyzed based on the advantages of the self-service of the university libraries,the corresponding measures to improve WeChat public platform in libraries were put forward.
