摘要
自《广学流慈——曾志忞史料殆尽之欤?》②发表,作者再据“新史料”对该文进行了修订,主要增项:曾志忞身世及家训之重要内容、贫儿院成立及被赐“皇匾”原因、中西音乐会“开场”音乐会的时间及相关补考、《曾氏寿渔堂家祠落成纪念册》《曾氏瑞芝义庄全案》《严修手稿》中相关曾志忞的记述、京剧乃至音乐改良新思路等新史料。作者对《广》文在短期增订这一行为表明“曾志忞史料绝未‘殆尽’”的现实及作者“孤证不立”之立场。
This essay is a revised version of the writer’s formerly published one in The Art of Music(No.3,2014).The added contents based on the lately found sources include Zeng’s life stories,his family precepts,an orphanage with his effort,an honor for him with a royal inscribed tablet from the empire,the time and other related information of the opening concert for the Chinese and Western Music Concert Series,and accounts of Zeng found in three sources(i.e.an autograph album for his family ancestral hall,a case file recording Zeng’s retreat building,and some other manuscripts),as well as new lines of thoughts for Peking opera and music improvement.This revised version reveals both the situation of absolutely inexhaustible sources around Zeng and the author’s stance that single piece of evidence can not hold water.
