《周易》乾卦卦辞"元亨利贞",既是《周易》的门户,也是概括全易精神之辞。虽然在《周易》卦爻辞中出现的频率最高,但是易学界对这四个字的诠释分歧也最大。本文借助诠释学的理论,梳理"元亨利贞"的不同解读,总结"元亨利贞"的四字释义,分析"元亨利贞"的各种翻译与诠释。文章提出:如同其他许多中国哲学和文化典籍里的核心概念词一样,"元亨利贞"的翻译与诠释也是开放的、多元的、发展的。翻译者和诠释者一方面要努力挖掘和再现作者和文本的确切原意,另一方面也要尽量理解和包容研究者和评注者的多种解释。

Yuan Heng Li Zhen in the text of hexagram Qian is of great importance for the understanding of the Zhouyi. There are always various interpretations on the four characters. This article, based on the theory of hermeneutics, traces different readings of this phrase, analyzes its etymology and translation, and summarizes several distinct approaches to the interpretation. The article concludes that the translation and interpretation of Yuan Heng Li Zhen is open-ended and versatile, so the translators and interpretors should try to grasp the original meaning on the one hand and embrace the diverse interpretations on the other.
