摘要
从英国二战后的社会和思想背景出发,对史密森夫妇的粗野主义建筑思想与1950年代的大众文化和波普艺术之间的关系进行讨论.艺术组织“独立小组”是史密森夫妇的粗野主义建筑中的核心“如其所是”观念的来源.“如其所是”观念的形成是史密森夫妇推动现代建筑从乌托邦理念向现实主义转变的重要步骤,并对1960年代后的建筑思想产生了历史影响.
Starting with the social and intellectual context of post-WWII Britain,this paper explores the relations between architectural Brutalism articulated by Alison and Peter Smithson and pop art in the 1950s.The Independent Team,a British post-war art organization,the core concept of "as found" in the Smithsonian Brutalism was derived from this process.The formation of the concept of "as found" became a crucial step for the Smithson to push modern architecture to move towards realism from utopian ideas,with tremendous impact on the development of architectural thoughts since the 1960s.
