摘要
主要研究CeO2 对过共晶Al Si合金中初晶硅的细化机理。研究结果表明 ,由于CeO2 与Si具有相同的面心立方结构 ,而且晶格常数十分接近 ,CeO2 又有较高的熔化温度 ,它易成为初晶Si的凝结核 ,因而在该合金中加入CeO2 。
Mechanism of the effects of CeO 2 on refining primary Si in hypereutectic Al-Si alloy was studied. The results showed that CeO 2 is susceptible to act as substrate for primary Si nucleation because CeO 2 has the same face cubic lattice and very near lattice parameter with Si and has higher melting temperature. As a result, CeO 2 addition can refine obviously the alloy.
