It is important to strengthen business vitality in industrial enterprises to heighten competition in open, worldwide markets. Meanwhile, the strategy of sustainable development is also crucial for the prosperity and survival of any enterprise. The vitality of industrial enterprises refers to the wise and immediate response to the change of external environment, efficiently mobilize the existing human resources to adapt to the advanced technology, while reducing the consumption of other natural resources, and cutting down the volume of waste material or discharge of waste water and residue. The paper is to propose a series of measures or indicators, such as vitality, adaptability, competitiveness, profitability and others, to evaluate industrial enterprises in a systematic and pragmatic manner.
