Objective To investigate the influence of Tongfengling decoction on pain degree and inflammatory response in patients with gouty arthritis. Methods 63 patients with gouty arthritis who admitted in the hospital from January 2017 to February 2019 were selected as research subjects. All selected cases were divided into control group(31 cases)and observation group(32 cases)according to the random number table. The patients in two groups were given routine treatment.Control group was given diclofenac based on routine treatment, and observation group was treated with Tongfengling decoction based on routine treatment. The pain degree, inflammatory response indexes, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the score of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Tongfengling decoction in treatment of patients with gouty arthritis has high safety,it can effectively decrease pain degree and reduce inflammatory response.
