In recent years,the European Union(EU),which has the highest degree of regional"integration"in the world,is facing various difficulties in the process of integration.The EU politics is confronted with the risk of splitting.The revival of populism and the Brexit reflect the increasing divisive forces in the EU,and at the same time lead to the demonstration effect of further splitting within the EU member states.The long-standing refugee and immigration problems have intensified social conflicts in the EU and the difficulty of EU governance.The international strategies of Russia and the United States and other external great powers will affect the choice of EU member states on their own interests and the interests of the EU.The European political division and shift of balance of power have brought a series of negative effects on the future development of Europe,weakened the economic growth momentum and increased social contradictions in the European countries,thus causing various social problems.
