Linux operating system management is a required professional course for students of computer department in higher vocational colleges.Firstly,this paper introduces the main problems faced by current Linux system teaching,briefly introduces the installation of virtual machine VMware and its application advantages in Linux teaching,and then discusses the application of virtual machine VMware in Linux system teaching combined with Linux teaching practice,The purpose is to improve the teaching effect of Linux system in higher vocational colleges.
