在过去,国内学界的华人华侨研究在地域上主要偏重于欧美、东南亚和非洲等区域,研究内容主要以侨情和侨史研究为主,对印度洋岛屿地区的华人华侨很少有研究涉及。人类命运共同体的概念和方略突破了对华人华侨的身份和国族认识符号化的问题,为新时期侨务工作的转型指明了发展方向,同时反映了我国整体宣传战略、外交战略乃至发展格局的深刻转型,给新时期的印度洋岛国华人华侨研究提出了更高的要求和历史使命。着力发挥侨力和维护侨益的力量支撑,对接沿线国家发展战略,将促成"一带一路"在岛国落地生根,实现互利共赢。

In the past,the research area was mainly focused on the overseas Chinese in Europe,America,southeast Asia and Africa.The content mainly included the condition and history of overseas Chinese.But the study of Indian ocean island’s overseas Chinese is rarely involved.The concept and strategy of“Human Destiny Community”for the identity of the overseas Chinese,National recognition is symbolized,which it can help the overseas Chinese to find the development direction,also reflect China's overall diplomatic strategy and the profound transformation of developmental pattern.The concept and strategy in the new period of Indian Ocean Islands’Overseas Chinese Studies needs higher requirements and historical mission.The power of diaspora and safeguard benefits strategies of the development states along the Belt and Road Initiatives,which the concept can root in these Indian Ocean Islands countries to achieve win-win among states.
