师范类高校图书馆技术绩效评价实证研究

An Empirical Study on Technology Performance Evaluation for Normal University Libraries

图书馆技术绩效评价结果是图书馆进行技术选择、优化与更替的重要依据。依据项目开发的评价量表,从用户和馆员双重视角对东、中、西部三所师范类高校图书馆所应用技术的绩效进行评价,结果表明:评价结果呈合格以上水平,均未达到良好,10多个维度评价不合格是影响绩效的原因所在。研究认为图书馆在新技术选择引入时,忌盲目跟风、不计成本、重功能轻效果,应综合考虑用户需求及图书馆实际,对应用中的技术适时评价,依据评价结果进行调整优化是确保技术绩效最大化的必然选择。

The performance evaluation results of library technologies are the important basis for the library to conduct technology selection,optimization and replacement.According to the evaluation scale of project development,the performances of the technologies applied in the libraries of three normal universities in the eastern,middle and western part of China are evaluated from the perspective of user and librarian.It is shown in the research that the performances are at a level above qualified,yet all of them have failed to be excellent.The disqualification in the evaluations of more than 10 dimensions is the reason that affects the performance.This research believes that when the library introduces new technology,it shall not blindly follow the trend and ignore the cost,emphasize the function rather than the effect.The library shall consider the demand of users and the actual situation of the library.It is an inevitable choice to evaluate the technologies applied in a timely manner,improve and optimize them according to the evaluation results so as to realize the maximization of the technology performance.
